The Coastal Trails Coalition, Inc. (CTC) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to assist in the development, promotion, and stewardship of the Coastal Trails Network, a 30-mile public system of bicycle and pedestrian trails connecting the Massachusetts communities of Amesbury, Newbury, Newburyport and Salisbury.

The Brain Candy Project's mission is to support the needs of parents/guardians living in the hospital with their critically ill children.We will collaborate with and support other non-profit organizations who are focused on charitable and educational activities that raise awareness about pediatric illnesses, traumas, and the support needs of families who are affected by them.

The Hasting House is a community center with a large functional hall/indoor basketball court, several meeting rooms, a library, full kitchen and a youth center. It is managed by a group of volunteers, elected by members of the local community.

The Essex County Trail Association exists to protect access to the trails and open lands throughout the 6 towns we work in.  We partner with both public and private landowners to ensure that the experience of open trails is positive for them as well as the trail users.

Designated in 1996 by the U.S. Congress, the Essex National Heritage Area covers the 500 square miles of eastern Massachusetts that lies north of Boston.
